Main Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, skid steers, and forklifts to safely load hoppers, compactors, and outgoing transport trucks within the Material Recovery Facility (MRF).
- Operate and monitor recycling processing equipment such as balers and conveyor systems to ensure efficient material flow and safe facility operations.
- Perform manual sorting of recyclable materials on the processing line while maintaining quality control standards and contamination reduction targets.
Working Hours
Monday-Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm. We work all statutory holidays, except for Christmas Day and New Years Day.
Physical Demands
Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Frequent climbing in and out of loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and other equipment.
Repetitive motions involving the hands, wrists, arms, and feet while operating equipment and performing sorting duties.
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and operating heavy equipment.
