Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM start (1:30pm; overtime as needed to 3:30pm)
Position Summary
We are looking for a skilled Equipment Assembler with hands-on mechanical and welding experience to join our growing team. This role is responsible for assembling, fitting, and modifying commercial truck equipment including utility bodies, cranes, hydraulics, and liftgates .
If you enjoy working with your hands, reading blueprints, and seeing your work roll out the door fully assembled—this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install truck bodies, equipment, and accessories on chassis
- Perform welding and basic fabrication work as needed
- Mount and align hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality
- Safely operate tools including grinders, plasma cutters, and torque wrenches
- Perform other duties as assigned
