About the Role

As a Trade Assistant, you will work alongside Electrical and SMP trades personnel, supporting maintenance, shutdown, construction, and project activities across a range of Resources and Energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Electrical and SMP trades personnel with daily site activities
  • Support maintenance, shutdown, commissioning, and project works
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Material handling and equipment movement
  • Maintain housekeeping standards across work areas
  • Adhere to all site safety requirements, procedures, and standards
  • Essential Requirements
  • Previous Trade Assistant experience within the Resources and Energy sector (mandatory)
  • Experience supporting Electrical and/or SMP scopes
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Working at Heights
  • Confined Space Entry
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
  • Experience on shutdown, maintenance, and brownfield projects
