EOI Intermediate Riggers

As an Intermediate Rigger, you will support site teams with safe and efficient rigging, lifting, equipment movement, and maintenance activities across local shutdown and project work fronts.

Key responsibilities include:

Performing rigging, lifting, dogging, equipment movement, and load placement activities

Supporting local shutdowns, planned maintenance, breakdowns, and project scopes across industrial sites

Inspecting, preparing, and using lifting gear and rigging equipment in line with site requirements

Assisting with crane lifts, dual lifts, equipment installation, removal, and maintenance work fronts

Reading and interpreting lift plans, work packs, permits, risk assessments, and task instructions

Communicating clearly with crane operators, doggers, supervisors, trades, and project teams

Completing work safely in line with permits, procedures, job plans, and site safety standards

Maintaining strong housekeeping, teamwork, and a safety-first approach across all activities

High Risk Work Licence – Intermediate Rigging

Dogging ticket or demonstrated dogging experience highly regarded

Demonstrated experience as an Intermediate Rigger within shutdowns, maintenance, turnarounds, breakdowns, or project work

Experience working within LNG, oil and gas, mining, resources, power generation, alumina, refinery, or heavy industrial environments

Strong understanding of rigging methods, lifting equipment, lift plans, and safe work practices

Ability to work safely and effectively in fast-paced site environments

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

Commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards

Current Driver’s Licence

Relevant site inductions, Construction White Card, working at heights, confined space, EWP, gas testing, and first aid tickets highly regarded

Recent Police Clearance
