Reporting to the Director Property and Security, the Advisor Property Environment will lead negotiations in relation to management of AMSA’s Aids to Navigation (AtoN) leases and licences. The Advisor Property and Environment will also manage AMSA’s Environmental Management System Compliance Obligations and delivery of the Government’s Climate Disclosure Policy and Net Zero in Government Operations Strategy.
In this role you will:
Manage stakeholder engagement within the AtoN portfolio, this will include engagement with key internal stakeholders, Native Title organisations, state and territory governments and third-party license holders
Manage the administration of third-party license arrangements
Manage leases associated with AMSA’s aids to navigation in collaboration with the Advisor Property & Services
Manage Building Code of Australia compliance related to tourism licenses
Manage the induction process associated with license agreements
Guide and support the Property and Environment team to effectively deliver team objectives.
Draft reports and recommendations associated with managing AtoN leases, licenses and Environmental Compliance Obligations to support senior management decision making.
Support the Director Property and Security in other duties related to the property portfolio.

This opportunity is being offered on a non-ongoing basis in any AMSA office location and will be advertised internally.
