Responsibilities
- Prepare Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies and other environmental reports
- Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and field assessments
- Perform site visits to collect environmental data and assess compliance
- Ensure compliance with Saudi environmental regulations and applicable standards
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and government authorities
- Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and regulatory submissions
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client engagement
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of environmental services and project delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience, officially documented by relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia
- Proven experience in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Audits, and Environmental Compliance
- Strong knowledge of Saudi environmental regulations and permitting requirements
- Excellent technical report writing and communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork and client meetings as required

Role Description
- Oryx Sustainability Environmental Consultancy is looking for a motivated and experienced Environmental Specialist to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing environmental studies and technical reports, conducting field inspections, supporting environmental compliance, and coordinating with clients and regulatory authorities.
- The role also includes contributing to business development by identifying opportunities and supporting the preparation of technical and commercial proposals.

- Excellent technical report writing and communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork and client meetings as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications related to environmental management are an advantage.
- Experience working with environmental consulting firms or multidisciplinary engineering consultancies.
- Familiarity with the requirements of the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC) and other Saudi environmental authorities.
