Role overview
GHD is seeking Environmental Interns for its Environmental team during the upcoming summer.
The intern will support project managers, engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, and technicians on environmental engineering solutions and project goals.
Work may cover air quality, solid waste, remediation, and health and safety.
Responsibilities
- Write reports, manage data, and maintain field equipment.
- Support field work and receive training in soil and groundwater sampling.
- Receive training in monitoring well installation and remediation system operations and maintenance.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in environmental engineering, environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, or a related field.
- Able to learn on the job and apply academic theory in practical work.
- Demonstrates motivation, initiative, and willingness to assist staff with varied tasks.
Workplace
- The workplace follows a hybrid model with in-office collaboration three days per week.
