Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental management strategies aligned with organizational objectives and sustainability goals.
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, permits, and company policies.
- Lead environmental impact assessments, audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Develop and maintain environmental management systems (EMS), policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Monitor environmental performance, emissions, waste management, water usage, energy consumption, and resource efficiency initiatives.
- Conduct environmental risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize environmental impact.
- Collaborate with operations, engineering, facilities, procurement, health and safety, and leadership teams to support environmental objectives.
- Manage environmental reporting, regulatory submissions, and sustainability documentation.
- Coordinate environmental awareness programs, employee training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor emerging environmental legislation, industry best practices, and sustainability trends.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in environmental management, sustainability, environmental compliance, or related roles.
- 2+ years of experience managing environmental programs, compliance initiatives, or environmental management systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, EMS, ISO 14001, waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability principles.
- Experience conducting environmental audits, inspections, compliance reporting, and risk assessments.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Ecology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.

- Experience conducting environmental audits, inspections, compliance reporting, and risk assessments.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience with environmental monitoring systems, reporting platforms, and data analysis tools is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
