Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist, located in Sharjah.
The primary responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs to ensure workplace safety compliance.
Additional duties involve conducting safety training sessions, performing risk assessments, monitoring occupational health and safety practices, and ensuring adherence to environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations.
The role also requires timely reporting and analysis of incidents and safety-related metrics.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
- Knowledge of Workplace Safety regulations and best practices
- Experience in designing and delivering Safety Training programs
- Familiarity with risk assessment processes and incident reporting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience in the construction or building materials industry is a plus
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field
