ERM is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to support EHS program implementation and monitoring across projects, operations, and construction.

Workplace
- The role includes on-site consulting and regular inspections of construction projects.
- Work locations are Hyderabad, Mumbai, or Pune.
EHS Leadership and Project Delivery
- Serve as an on-site health and safety consultant for a technology-sector client.
- Deliver health and safety services, incident and near-miss management, and stop-work interventions.
- Confirm legal compliance requirements and monitor safety control programs during construction.
- Conduct regular inspections to promote safe behaviors, good site conditions, and worker safety awareness.
- Report health and safety performance to regional leadership.
Client and Team Leadership
- Build long-term relationships with clients as a trusted safety advisor.
- Translate technical safety challenges into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver integrated EHS solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior consultants and foster safety, accountability, and high performance.
- Lead internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and safety thought leadership.
Business Development
- Identify opportunities for safety consulting services in manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, chemicals, and related sectors.
- Support key account planning, proposal development, and pitch presentations.
- Represent ERM in industry forums, webinars, and client events as an occupational safety and risk-management subject matter expert.
- For Principal Consultant-level scope, lead large diverse teams and strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental, safety, chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of hands-on experience in safety consulting, audits, risk assessments, and system implementation.
- At least 3 years of relevant construction safety experience.
- Experience with hazard recognition, incident management, construction safety planning, and job hazard analysis.
- NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, IOSH, or an equivalent certification is mandatory.
- CSP, CMIOSH, or similar global credentials are an advantage.
- Exposure to data center and technology-industry guidelines and international clients is required.
