Responsibilities
- Review and update Environmental Audit & Inspection Plans (EAIP)
- Develop environmental monitoring programs, sampling plans, inspection checklists, and evaluation criteria
- Conduct environmental compliance audits, inspections, site assessments, and environmental monitoring activities
- Assess environmental aspects, impacts, operational performance, and regulatory compliance
- Perform gap analyses to identify institutional, technical, and resource limitations
- Evaluate environmental performance against established standards and previous assessment results
- Identify, classify, and track environmental non conformities and corrective actions
- Benchmark environmental management systems and operational practices against international best practices
- Conduct situational and operational analyses, including capacity assessments and risk evaluations
- Develop Environmental Management & Monitoring Plans (EMMP)
- Develop Environmental Inspection & Monitoring Programs (EIMP)
- Conduct environmental data analysis and prepare technical reports
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental auditing, inspections, and compliance assessments
- Proven experience in environmental monitoring programs (air, water, soil, groundwater)
- Strong analytical, reporting, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience leading multidisciplinary environmental teams
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification (preferred)
- ISO 19011 Auditing Certification (preferred)
- Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Certification (preferred)
- NEBOSH Environmental Management (preferred)

Role Overview
- We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to lead and execute a comprehensive Environmental Performance Assessment project.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental audits, compliance assessments, environmental monitoring, benchmarking studies, and the development of environmental management and monitoring frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and update Environmental Audit & Inspection Plans (EAIP).
- Develop environmental monitoring programs, sampling plans, inspection checklists, and evaluation criteria.
