Role overview

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review environmental reports, policies, procedures, CEMP, EMP, EIA, and related documentation.
• Monitor site implementation through regular site visits and ensure compliance with legislation, permits, policies, and ISO 14001.
• Review consultant and contractor submissions and coordinate approvals with the Quality and Safety Department.
• Monitor environmental KPIs, including recycling and waste management performance.
• Identify risks and non-conformances and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with project stakeholders and the Ministry of Environment on environmental matters, permits, and approvals.
• Support environmental management systems, technical meetings, lessons learned, and programme-wide performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline from a recognized WHED-listed university.
• More than 10 years of relevant professional experience after the required academic qualification.
• At least 5 years of environmental engineering or management experience on large-scale development or infrastructure programmes.
