About the Role
SEPCOIII is urgently hiring an Environmental Engineer for the Khazna 1.5GW Solar PV Project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves implementing the Environmental Management System, conducting audits, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and local regulations.

Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with ISO 14001 standards
- Manage environmental audits and inspection programs and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors, environmental consultants, and regulatory authorities including EAD for approvals and compliance
- Conduct environmental monitoring (water, air, noise, and waste analysis) and prepare technical reports
- Oversee waste management activities including inspection, tracking, handling, and safe disposal
- Analyze laboratory results and provide technical recommendations
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation, CESMP/EIA requirements, and company standards
- Maintain all CEMP documentation and records for audits and regulatory compliance
- Conduct regular site environmental inspections and ensure implementation of corrective actions
- Manage hazardous waste sampling, assessment, and disposal guidance during operations
- Ensure availability and proper maintenance of environmental monitoring equipment, chemicals, and consumables
- Monitor employee welfare, handle grievances, and conduct social compliance inspections and training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related field (implied by role)
- Experience in implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and ISO 14001
- Experience in environmental monitoring (water, air, noise, waste)
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and CESMP/EIA requirements
- Experience in waste management and hazardous waste handling
- Ability to conduct environmental audits and inspections
- Strong communication and coordination skills
