Role Overview
The role is for an Environmental Engineer at an engineering consultancy in Doha, Qatar.
The position requires immediate availability and is focused on infrastructure and construction projects.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental engineering.
- Engineering consultancy or PMC background is preferred.
- Experience with environmental impact assessments, environmental management plans, and mitigation strategies for infrastructure and construction projects.
- Ability to conduct field investigations and site assessments to support project evaluations.
- Experience preparing technical reports and proposals for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental solutions into project design.
- Familiarity with Qatar environmental legislation and international environmental standards.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering is mandatory.
- MMUP/UPDA Grade A in Environmental Engineering is listed as mandatory in the requirements section.
- Candidates must hold a valid NOC, be locally available in Qatar, and be able to join immediately upon selection.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments, field investigations, and site assessments for project evaluations.
- Prepare environmental management plans, mitigation strategies, technical reports, and proposals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental solutions into project design.
- Apply Qatar environmental legislation and international environmental standards.
