What would you be doing?
Lead and grow the Decommissioning & Abandonment service line, ensuring strong operational performance, financial sustainability, and high‑quality project delivery.
Steward execution of complex Decommissioning & Abandonment programs including well and facility abandonment coordination, demolition, site transitions, and integration with assessment, remediation and reclamation activities.
Support identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, including developing proposals, leading RFP responses, and supporting cross‑functional growth strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and relevant stakeholders, representing FLINT as a trusted partner in asset retirement.
Support cross‑service collaboration with our two other technical service lines, Assessment, Remediation, Reclamation and Closure (ARRC) and Water Resources and compliance (WRC) to deliver integrated environmental solutions.
Mentor, develop, and support multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical diploma, trade‑qualified professional, or related discipline with relevant technical training, certifications, and progressive leadership experience.
- 15+ years of experience in industrial and/or environmental asset retirement, including well, pipeline, facility, and infrastructure abandonment, demolition, and site transition programs.
- Proven leadership experience overseeing complex, contractor‑driven execution, multidiscipline teams, and high‑risk field operations.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and client requirements related to abandonment, demolition, and site closures, including construction interfaces, safety‑critical work, and execution risk.
