Wesdome is a Canadian-focused gold producer with two high-grade underground assets, the Eagle River mine in Ontario and the Kiena mine in Québec. The Company’s primary goal is to responsibly leverage its operating platform and high-quality brownfield and greenfield exploration pipeline to build a growing value-driven gold producer.

Team members reside in a camp environment and typically work on rotations, depending on the position. The Environmental Advisor is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and improving assigned site environmental programs while supporting environmental monitoring, permit compliance, field execution, incident follow-up, data management, and environmental stewardship.
This role completes fieldwork with Environmental Technicians, Monitors, and students, while also taking greater ownership of assigned environmental program areas such as compliance, hazardous waste, water management, wildlife, site inspections, spill response, environmental monitoring, contractor support, or other site-specific programs.
The Environmental Advisor provides field-level leadership, technical support, and guidance to Environmental Technicians, Monitors, and students to ensure environmental work is completed safely, consistently, and in accordance with applicable legislation, permits, approvals, management plans, company standards, and site procedures. Site environmental governance plays a key role in this position facilitating ongoing operations while maintaining environmental stewardship and compliance.
