Entry Level Engineering Field Technician

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 2+ years of construction materials testing experience in the field

Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and clean MVR

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate reporting

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment

Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer reporting tools

Ability to pass a drug screening and background check

Experience working on CDOT transportation or public infrastructure projects

Strong knowledge of ASTM/AASHTO field testing procedures

Additional certifications beyond minimum requirements

Positive attitude, strong initiative, and customer-service mindset

Desire to grow into advanced testing, inspection, or leadership roles at CMT
