Work in a variety of areas which may include sorting, stacking, and piling lumber
Handling and lifting materials
Operate production equipment as assigned
Assist other processing workers
Assist with the routine maintenance and cleaning of the sawmill equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues to the team.
Other general labourer responsibilities
Repetitive tasks
Strict adherence to company safety standards and follow Safe work practices such as Lock-out, Pre-task hazard assessments, etc.
Standing for extended periods
Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
Availability to perform day and night shifts as needed
Good physical condition
Ability to work repetitive tasks
Ability to work as a positive team member
Strong commitment to follow all safety guidelines and protocols, wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and taking precautions to maintain a safe work environment.
Reliable and Excellent work ethic
