Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain Windows desktop applications with hardware integration capabilities.
- Participate in software architecture, technical design discussions, and code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, define technical solutions, and support product development initiatives.
- Develop and execute software testing and debugging activities to identify, analyze, and resolve defects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support regulatory compliance, product development, and business requirements.
- Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, including planning, design, development, verification, release, deployment, and post-release support.
- Apply Agile development methodologies and software engineering best practices to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product performance, software quality, and development efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 4 to 8 years of software development experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing and developing Windows desktop applications using C#, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and related Windows technologies.
- Experience developing graphical user interface (GUI) applications and integrating software with hardware devices.
- Experience with object-oriented design principles, software architecture patterns, and application design patterns.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the medical device industry or another regulated industry subject to quality and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with networking and communication protocols used in distributed software systems.
- Knowledge of software security practices, risk analysis, and secure software development methodologies.
- Experience supporting products through the complete software development lifecycle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
