• A fast-growing financial services business is hiring an Enterprise Risk Manager to become the second hire into its risk function, reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer.
• This is a rare opportunity to take real ownership of enterprise risk management within a highly entrepreneurial and fast-moving environment.
• The role is broad, hands-on, and highly visible, covering operational risk, controls, governance, policies, standards, RCSAs, committee governance, and enterprise-wide risk frameworks.
• The business is also investing heavily in AI-enabled risk management.
• The successful candidate will inherit and continue developing an emerging AI-supported ERM environment that already includes policy management, controls cycles, reporting workflows, and regulatory interpretation projects.
• We are looking for someone with:
• 6–10 years’ experience in enterprise risk management and/or operational risk
• A broad financial services background
• Strong experience across governance, controls, policies, and risk frameworks
• Excellent communication skills and strong written English
• The ability to work independently in a lean, high-performing environment
• Current UAE-based location preferred
• Experience in digital assets or crypto is not required.
