Enterprise Applications Engineering Manager

OpenLoop is looking for an Enterprise Applications Engineering Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and a passion for building high-quality software solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences to our customers and clients.

The Enterprise Applications Engineering Manager leads a team of solutions engineers responsible for designing, building, and delivering high-impact enterprise applications, software solutions and integrations. This role blends people management, technical leadership, and delivery execution.

You will oversee end-to-end solution delivery across customer-facing and internal initiatives while remaining hands-on in client communication, complex integrations, and critical problem-solving. In addition, you will own project planning, reporting, and operational processes to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes.

As a key cross-functional leader, you will serve as the bridge between Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and external partners where you will translate business needs into software solutions and integrations.

8+ years in software engineering or released experience, including 4+ years managing engineers

Experience leading high-performing teams and delivering complex projects

Solid understanding of modern software architecture and system design

Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred)

Familiarity with SDLC, CI/CD, and agile practices

Proven ability to operate both as an individual contributor and a technical guide/mentor.

Advanced proficiency with AI tools, specifically Claude (Level 3 or equivalent), including prompt engineering, workflow integration, and practical application in a business or technical environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable guidance for others.

Strong communication, stakeholder and project management skills

Ability to translate business goals into technical execution

Experience with hiring, coaching, and performance management of engineers
