Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an English Teacher at The Modern American International School, located in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates.
The English Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lesson plans, teaching English to students across various grade levels, and promoting a love for learning.
Additional responsibilities include evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback, and contributing to the development of the school's academic programs while collaborating with other teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English Teaching and Education, with experience teaching students across different grade levels.
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning, with the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate, and interactive learning experiences.
- Effective Communication and Teaching skills to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in English.
- A teaching diploma.
- UAE Equivalency.
- Prior experience teaching in an American curriculum school is an advantage.
- Adaptability, cultural sensitivity, and an ability to effectively collaborate in a diverse international environment.
