Our customers include civil engineering and construction contractors, asset owners, and consulting engineering firms through to small builders.

Due to continued growth, we are currently looking for an Engineering Technician to join our engineering team.

Reporting to a Design Team Leader, you will be responsible for producing temporary works design drawings for excavation support, propping, formwork and falsework.

You will

• Create high-quality 2D drawings and 3D Revit models that clearly communicate temporary works designs for excavation support, propping, formwork and falsework schemes.
• Translate engineering concepts into accurate and practical drawings that can be used by customers, site teams and operational colleagues.
• Work closely with engineers to develop layouts, details and construction solutions for a wide range of civil engineering and construction projects.
• Develop a strong understanding of Mabey Hire's products and systems.
• Assist in the production of accurate equipment schedules and kit lists to support quotations, project planning and site delivery.
• Create fabrication and manufacturing drawings for bespoke components and special parts when required.
