Position Summary

Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air-quality-control, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, pool, and spa systems.

Monitor the mechanical plant, property temperature, and energy and utilities usage.

Maintain safety, quality, efficiency, and service standards in a hotel engineering environment.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air-quality-control, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Conduct daily mechanical-plant inspections and monitor property temperature.
  • Monitor and analyze energy and utilities usage and calibrate controls, gauges, meters, and other equipment.
  • Assemble, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems and electronic wiring.
  • Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and related components.
  • Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost savings.

Required Qualifications

  • EPA Universal Certification is required.
  • A driver's license is required.
  • HVAC Certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • The position is full time and located at the Central Area District North of Al Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
  • The role requires movement in confined or elevated spaces and across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
  • The role requires using stairs, service ramps, and ladders.
  • The role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
  • The role requires reaching overhead and below the knees and manipulating objects of varying sizes and weights.

Additional Duties

Follow company, safety, and security policies and report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, and injuries.

Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and communicate professionally.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
