Position Summary

Perform painting, surface preparation, finishing, and related property maintenance work in a hotel environment.

The position is full time, non-management, and not remote.

Painting and Finishing Duties

  • Apply paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture with brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
  • Apply primers and sealers before finish coats.
  • Remove old finishes by stripping, sanding, wire brushing, burning, or water and abrasive blasting.
  • Protect surfaces during painting and post appropriate paint signs.
  • Clean and store painting tools and equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors to modify paint, stain, or varnish colors.

Safety and Guest Service

  • Follow company, safety, and security policies and report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, or injuries.
  • Complete safety training and certifications and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
  • Support team goals and maintain quality expectations and standards.
  • Perform physical work including ladder use, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is specified.
