Location
is seeking a Science & Technology (S&T) Engineering Support Manager to lead engineering support functions and ensure that science and technology engineering work is planned, controlled, and reported accurately and on time.
What will you be doing!
Engineering Planning Supervising personnel in the preparation of Design Plans, in accordance with 900-508120-MCP-001 - Design Planning. Supervising personnel in the preparation of Activity Description and Estimates (AD&E) for all D&ER Engineering jobs and tasks. Supervising personnel in the preparation of changes of scope and/or extensions. Supervising personnel in the preparation and presentation of high-level estimates (Level 5 estimates/engineering job triage). Supervising personnel in the preparation of detailed estimates (Level 1-2 estimates). Ensuring that all work executed by the S&T Engineering group is properly planned in accordance with CNL processes and procedures.

Coordinating with managers of the S&T Engineering department, Project Engineering Managers, and S&T department staff to manage and secure resources for project needs. Synergizing with other S&T managers to recommend and to make informed decisions as to when engineering deliverables are prepared and delivered internally, or by external engineering contractors. Interfacing with the S&T leadership team to understand the future needs of the division, and assisting in creating short-term and long-term goals for the internal S&T engineering team.

Developing and maintaining good internal and external relationships to promote teamwork and collaboration.
Ensuring Safety is paramount in all activities.

What we are looking for:
Education University or college degree from an institution of a recognized standing in engineering, architecture, construction, planning, geography or related field. PMP is an asset. P.Eng is an asset.

Experience Minimum of 8-10 years of experience with demonstrated exposure to projects in the Canadian nuclear industry, with a good understanding of engineering procedures, work practices and records management system. Extensive experience in Engineering relating to construction or projects.

Proven ability to generate efficiencies through existing organizational procedures and develop new methods for work planning and control, aligning with the MCPs for DADE and Configuration Management. Knowledgeable of engineering processes and procedures, such as Engineering Change Control, Design Authority and Design Engineering (DADE), Design Planning, Contracts and Contractor Management, Oversight of Engineering Agencies, and Configuration Management. Knowledgeable in Safety & Licensing, Procurement, QA, Planning and Control, Construction/Installation, and applicable business systems. Good knowledge of processes related to planning, human resources, and the management of people.

Working Conditions
Working schedule: Five (5) days per week, seven and a half (7.5) hours per day for a thirty-seven and a half (37.5) hour work week.
