Engineering Supervisor

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering team activities and ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, kitchen, and building systems.
• Assign work orders, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and plant rooms for maintenance requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and guide technicians during repairs and maintenance activities.
• Monitor equipment and recommend repairs, replacements, or improvements.
• Maintain engineering tools, equipment, spare parts, maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and schedules.
• Coordinate with hotel departments and monitor contractor work to minimize disruption and maintain standards.
• Promote energy conservation and sustainability programs.
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, hotel policies, local regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements.
