Engineering Project Technical Writer

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Compile and edit weekly, monthly, and quarterly technical progress reports and documentation.
• Coordinate drafts from multiple managers, streamline approval reviews, and create consolidated reports.
• Develop documentation templates, standards, and guides for engineering projects.
• Edit customer technical reports, conference papers, presentations, design documents, software delivery schedules, and user guides.
• Provide technical writing consultation to engineers and scientists and capture meeting action items and minutes.
• Coordinate travel, process expense reports, update travel logs, and manage multiple engineering calendars.
• Arrange interviews, prepare agendas, coordinate feedback, and maintain candidate files with technical leads.
• Maintain award logs, support team activities, and complete management or administrative tasks as needed.
• Use a personal vehicle to travel between customer and company facilities for documentation delivery and team coordination.

Required Qualifications
