We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented structural engineering professionals with 0-5 years of experience to contribute to our diverse portfolio of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering principles, a passion for technical design, and a keen interest in integrated design and delivery processes.

The role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience in all phases of project development.

Technical Responsibilities

Perform structural engineering analysis, design, and calculations for vertical building structures under the direct supervision of a senior engineer.
Analysis and design of structural steel, concrete, wood, and masonry framing systems for vertical building structures.
Participation in submittal of documentation for permitting/regulatory review with multiple local agencies and jurisdictions.
Utilization of the latest structural engineering analysis and design software.
Utilization of Autodesk Revit Structure building information modeling (BIM) software.

Core Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of design documentation including BIM models, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers.
Conduct research on materials, products, building codes, systems, and sustainable design practices to inform project decisions.
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including architecture, sustainability, construction, and other consultants, to support the integrated delivery of projects.

Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from ABET accredited structural engineering program. Master of Science (MS) degree from ABET accredited structural engineering program a plus.
Experience: 0-5 years of full-time structural engineering experience in an engineering firm, with exposure to analysis, design, and documentation for vertical building projects utilizing structural steel, reinforced concrete and masonry framing systems.
Knowledge: IBC, ASCE and ICC Building Codes and Standards a plus.
Licensing and Certification: Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam and EIT Certification a plus. Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or Structural Engineer (S.E.) license a plus.
Skills: critical thinking, analytical problem-solving skills, technical expertise, attention to detail, adaptability, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Passion: A genuine interest in integrated design and delivery, with a commitment to professional growth and development.

Range: $70,000 - $105,000.

Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
