Process Engineering & Analytics (PE&A) is a multidisciplinary, digital-first centre of excellence that transforms data, knowledge, and technology into a sustained competitive advantage for delivery across medicines and vaccines.
By combining engineering, modelling, automation, analytics, and advanced digital capabilities, the department supports the broader business ambition to accelerate drug development with reduced risk and greater efficiency.
Engineers and scientists work collaboratively to solve real-world challenges across multiple modalities, including vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, and small molecules, and at all stages of development from laboratory and pilot-scale environments through to commercial manufacturing.
PE&A enables medicine development teams to adopt and embed innovative digital solutions that support pipeline delivery, scalable impact, and long-term value creation.
