- Guide a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions for fashion tech products
- Lead sprint planning and standups, prioritizing technical work with product stakeholders
- Ensure clear communication of goals, timelines, and expectations across the team
- Review architecture and code, removing blockers for engineers
- Promote best practices in software development, testing, and deployment
- Oversee project execution from concept through release, track progress against milestones
- Support continuous improvement of processes and tools
- Mentor individual contributors, fostering a supportive and inclusive team culture
- Contribute to hiring decisions and technical roadmap discussions
Requirements
- Strong Engineering Management skills, including team coordination, performance feedback, and mentoring
- Proven Team Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, support, and guide engineers in a remote environment
- Hands on Software Development background, with proficiency in modern programming languages, frameworks, and version control
- Demonstrated Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scoping work, managing timelines, and aligning stakeholders
- Experience with Agile or similar methodologies, and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, or equivalent
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate clearly with both technical and non technical partners
- Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high quality, maintainable code and architectures
- Previous experience leading distributed or remote engineering teams is highly beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Interest in fashion, retail, e commerce, or consumer technology is a plus
