About the Role
Doka Middle East & Africa is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the engineering function in Riyadh. The manager will oversee formwork design teams, ensure safe and cost-effective solutions, and collaborate with sales and project teams.

Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate engineering teams across multiple projects
- Implement economical and practical formwork solutions to meet team and company objectives
- Produce, review, and approve formwork designs, material lists, offer drawings, and shop drawings
- Conduct and review advanced static calculations and structural verifications
- Ensure formwork solutions are safe, practical, and cost effective
- Provide technical guidance and resolution for complex engineering and site issues
- Supervise engineering deliverables to meet project deadlines and milestones
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Formwork Instructors on technical issues
- Assist the Sales Team with technical input, client presentations, and site support
- Lead customer interactions to communicate engineering proposals and deliver technical presentations
- Coordinate engineering resource allocation with the Head of Engineering
- Ensure adherence to company policies, engineering procedures, and performance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Extensive experience in the formwork engineering industry, preferably in Saudi Arabia / Middle East
- Proven experience managing engineering teams and multi project environments
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar managerial positions in formwork field
- Strong knowledge of formwork systems and engineering principles
- Proficiency in CAD software (2D & 3D) and project management tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical thinking with attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and results driven mindset
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements
- Arabic language skills are a strong advantage
