Role Overview
Lead development of high-quality foundational large language models through supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning from human feedback tasks.
Work with one of the employer's clients in a delivery-oriented engineering management role.
Location
- Remote work from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams of 20+ Python, JavaScript, Java, and other language developers.
- Collaborate with researcher clients to ensure satisfaction with delivered work.
- Maintain rigorous dataset quality review processes.
- Oversee project transitions from initiation to stable states and take responsibility for delivery.
- Implement measures to improve code quality within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in engineering management.
- Experience managing large technical teams in a delivery-oriented role.
- Experience with Python or Java and JavaScript.
- Ability to perform hands-on technical work and resolve quality issues.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills focused on motivating teams.
