Role Overview
Remote full-time Engineering Manager role working from anywhere.
Lead development of foundational large language models through supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning from human feedback tasks.
The role is offered through Hire Feed for one of its clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams of more than 20 Python, JavaScript, Java, and other language developers.
- Collaborate with researcher clients to ensure satisfaction with delivered work.
- Maintain rigorous review processes for dataset quality.
- Own project transitions from initiation to stable states and take responsibility for delivery.
- Identify and implement measures to improve code quality within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least eight years of professional software engineering experience, including at least three years in engineering management.
- Experience managing large technical teams in a delivery-oriented role.
- Experience with Python or Java and JavaScript.
- Hands-on technical ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills focused on motivating teams.
