Role Overview
Lead the development of high-quality foundational large language models through supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning from human feedback tasks.

Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is remote and may be performed from anywhere.
Compensation
- Payout is competitive and based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams of more than 20 Python, JavaScript, Java, and other language developers.
- Collaborate with researcher clients to ensure satisfaction with delivered work.
- Maintain rigorous dataset review processes.
- Oversee projects from initiation through transition to stable states and take responsibility for delivery.
- Implement measures to improve code quality within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in engineering management.
- Experience managing large technical teams in a delivery-oriented role.
- Experience with Python or Java and JavaScript.
- Ability to perform hands-on technical work and resolve quality issues.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills focused on motivating teams.
