Role Overview
The employer is seeking an Engineering Manager – Rail Telecom for a leading infrastructure project in Dubai, UAE.
The role requires strong railway telecom design and multidisciplinary engineering management experience.
Experience Requirements
- Fifteen to eighteen or more years of experience in railway telecommunication design or engineering management.
- At least five years of experience in senior telecom engineering or design management.
- Experience with large rail, metro, APM, or tram projects.
- UAE or GCC experience is highly preferred.
Key Expertise
- Fiber optic transmission and IP/MPLS networks.
- TETRA, LTE, and FRMCS radio communication.
- CCTV, PIDS, PAS, telephony, master clock, access control, and data centers.
- Railway systems integration and interface management.
- RAMS and cybersecurity.
- Design management, technical reviews, and quality assurance.
- Testing, commissioning, and client coordination.
Role Scope
- Lead railway telecommunications design and engineering management for a major infrastructure project.
- Manage multidisciplinary railway telecom systems integration, design reviews, testing, commissioning, and client coordination.
