Role Overview
The Payments function owns payment corridors, regulated obligations, and the API and GUI product surfaces used to initiate, track, and reconcile payments.
The Engineering Manager will stand up a new Payments pod and own corridor expansion, license operationalization, and the payments product end to end.
Corridor Expansion
- Own launches for new payment corridors from partner integration through pilot and general availability.
- Turn corridor launches into repeatable capabilities with standardized integrations and configuration over code where possible.
- Define launch readiness across rails, cutoffs, FX, fees, returns, and reconciliation.
- Own live-corridor reliability, settlement timeliness, failure handling, partner degradation, failover, and operational runbooks.
