The Risk Detection team aims to minimize friction for good merchants while protecting users in the financial ecosystem.
The Engineering Manager will lead an engineering team focused on risk management, merchant experience, and product differentiation.
Responsibilities
- Support high technical quality and impact across APIs, user-facing experiences, services, and systems.
- Recruit, hire, scale, and develop an engineering team.
- Execute cross-functionally with leadership, product, infrastructure, and risk strategy teams.
- Influence strategic direction and platform decisions affecting Stripe and its customers.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 3 years of engineering management experience.
- Prior experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or equivalent.
