Engineering Manager, Data Platform

What You Will Bring

• 8+ years of data or backend engineering experience, including 2+ years directly managing engineers.
• Current hands-on capability in coding and systems design for warehouses, orchestration, and pipeline failure modes.
• Production data platform experience with warehouse architecture, orchestration, and transformation frameworks.
• Experience building or scaling teams through hiring, people development, and difficult people decisions.
• Stakeholder judgment, business framing, and the ability to preserve relationships while pushing back.
• Comfort with lean teams, shifting priorities, and close involvement in technical work.

Nice to Have

• Healthcare data experience with EHR integrations, claims, HL7/FHIR, or PHI/HIPAA constraints is preferred.
• Warehouse cost management, RBAC or governance, and vendor relationship experience is preferred.
• Prior player-coach experience at a Series A–C company is preferred.

Compensation

• Base salary is $225,000 to $260,000 per year.
• The package includes an annual bonus program, company equity, and benefits.
