Engineering Manager – Combustion Module GTE

Execution and Communication

• Provide hands-on support during critical design phases and product testing.
• Ensure technical data complies with engineering QMS policies and internal standards.
• Communicate significant technical issues and developments to the broader GTE leadership team.
• Anticipate customer needs and measure performance and processes from the customer's perspective.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in gas turbine engineering, power generation design, services, or testing is required.
• At least 5 years of team, project, or resource management experience is required.
• Proven experience managing and scaling engineering teams is required.
• Strong technical experience in gas turbine or turbomachinery combustion systems is required.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.

Academic Background

• The posting also lists BE/BTech, ME/MTech/MS, or PhD qualifications in Mechanical, Thermal, or Energy Engineering.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience planning, executing, marketing, and documenting programmes or projects in a complex multifunctional environment is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with combustion design or analysis tools and familiarity with gas power tollgate reviews are desirable.
• Experience with Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint, or Smartsheet is desirable.
• A servant-leadership mindset, proactive approach, adaptability, and change-agent track record are desirable.
