About Heidi
Heidi builds AI care products designed to reduce clinical administration and strengthen the connection between clinicians and patients.
Its products support more than 2.5 million patient sessions per week across over 190 countries.
The role
Lead the team responsible for Heidi's cloud platform and reliability practice.
Own the infrastructure, reliability objectives, on-call rotation, and internal tooling that enable engineers to ship without unnecessary friction.
Lead a small team of cloud and reliability engineers while remaining hands-on with production systems.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and grow the platform team, set direction, hire engineers, coach technical decisions, and maintain a sustainable on-call model.
- Own the multi-region cloud footprint across compute, networking, data stores, Kubernetes, identity, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Define SLIs and SLOs, manage error budgets, report reliability performance, and use reliability outcomes to influence roadmaps.
- Run incident response, maintain escalation and communication processes, and ensure post-incident follow-ups are completed.
- Improve releases through feature flags, canary deployments, staged rollouts, and tested rollback paths.
