Role objectives
Support development of standardized automotive repair timelines through accurate documentation during time-and-motion studies.
Work with lead technicians to record procedural data, track tool usage, and capture investigative steps for labor-time guides.
Combine mechanical interest with administrative precision to support realistic and efficient service standards.
Candidate responsibilities
- Document labor time studies and create final reports based on findings.
- Navigate online resources and interpret standard automotive service information.
- Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting.
- Locate and receive shipments of parts.
- Follow high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization, including 5S standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
- Locate, move, and wash vehicles as needed.
- Assist with tasks requested by the supervisor.
- Travel infrequently as needed.
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Foundational mechanical skills and interest in professional automotive service and repair.
