Role Overview
Support standardized automotive repair timelines by documenting each step of service during time-and-motion studies.
Work with lead technicians to record procedural data, track tool usage, and capture investigative steps.
Support shop organization and prepare vehicles for delivery back to field service.
Work Location
- All functions are performed at the Engineering Garage in Fountain Valley, California.
Responsibilities
- Document labor time studies and create final reports based on findings.
- Perform daily record keeping and reporting.
- Locate and receive parts shipments.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization using 5S standards.
- Locate, move, and wash vehicles as needed.
- Assist with supervisor-requested tasks.
Requirements
- Motivated automotive technician enthusiast or apprentice with foundational mechanical skills.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Microsoft Office 365 proficiency, especially Outlook and basic Excel skills.
