As the Engineering Director, you will provide strategic leadership for the Engineering organization, driving operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across repair development, production support, and manufacturing operations.
You will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in developing innovative repair solutions, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality, and customer requirements.
Partnering closely with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Commercial, and other business leaders, you will align engineering strategies with business objectives to enhance product quality, improve operational efficiency, and support long-term growth.
What You'Ll Do
- Lead the Engineering organization by establishing strategic priorities, allocating resources, and developing a high-performing team that supports business objectives, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies, standards, and best practices that enhance repair development, manufacturing operations, product quality, and operational performance.
- Provide leadership and direction for engineering activities supporting production, repair development, technical services, process engineering, customer support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Commercial, and Program Management teams to align engineering priorities with customer commitments and strategic business objectives.
- Provide oversight of engineering projects from planning through implementation, including project prioritization, resource allocation, budgeting, capital planning, tooling development, scheduling, and execution.
