About the Role
IFS seeks an Engineering Director, Agentic Platform to lead the Agentic Platform pillar.
The role involves leading the engineering pillar, owning the platform layers of the future architecture, and completing the cloud transition.
Candidates must have 12+ years of building and operating production software, 5+ years of leading platform, infrastructure, or cloud engineering organizations, and experience with Azure and/or AWS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Engineering pillar, owning delivery, quality, and operations across the five cells.
- Own the platform layers of the future architecture, including the Platform Control Plane, the Platform Service Layer, and Deployment and Tenancy Options.
- Complete the move to Azure, including the analytics platform on Microsoft Fabric, and retire legacy Windows-era infrastructure on a committed timeline.
- Industrialize the AI infrastructure, taking the new AI Agentic Platform from early adopter to production grade.
- Automate the operation, eliminating R&D-owned manual bottlenecks in provisioning, upgrades, and environment management.
- Scale extension migration, driving the AI-powered migration of hundreds of customer extensions onto the modern platform.
- Run the platform as a product, treating internal adoption as the metric that matters.
