Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Engineering Aid to support our supply chain and manufacturing operations. The Engineering Aid will work closely with engineers, buyers, and quality personnel to ensure that materials, components, and subcontracted processes move efficiently through our production pipeline — from raw casting receipt through machining, coating, and final inspection.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage the status of IGT parts throughout the supply chain (casting, machining, coating, inspection, shipping).
- Assist engineering and procurement teams with vendor coordination , purchase order tracking, and schedule updates.
- Support preparation of technical packages , inspection documents, and traceability records.
- Maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) , job travelers, and production routing data in ERP or job-tracking systems.
- Interface with outside processors and vendors for heat treatment, coating, and NDT services .
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments and ensure AS9100 / NADCAP documentation is complete.
