Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering infrastructure projects and support project leaders in achieving successful outcomes.
- Prepare and review detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Prepare reports, calculations, and design documentation.
- Conduct technical and quality reviews and address potential issues in project deliverables.
- Develop and assess surface water drainage systems for stormwater management and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modeling to inform design decisions and evaluate drainage system impacts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Professional Engineering license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in wet utilities.
- Experience designing potable water, sewer, stormwater, irrigation, district cooling, and firefighting systems.
- Working knowledge of HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPANET, WaterCAD, InfoWorks, SewerCAD, StormCAD, and SWMM.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, MicroStation, MicroDrainage, and HAMMER is a plus.
- Ability to prepare designs using Civil 3D in a BIM environment.
- Knowledge of clash resolution using Navisworks, Bentley Navigator, or Autodesk Civil 3D.
