1. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to work independently.
2. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and equivalent software.
3. Awareness of utility equipment types, specifications and selection criteria.
4. Knowledge of major utility and process equipment, their components, and associated vendors or manufacturers.
5. Knowledge of piping systems, fittings, valves, instrumentation, applicable codes and industry standards.
6. Basic understanding of pharmaceutical utility systems such as Purified Water (PW), Water for Injection (WFI), Clean Steam/Pure Steam, Compressed Air, and HVAC utilities.
Preferred Knowledge:
1. Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in relation to utility and process systems.
2. Basic understanding of pharmaceutical process flows.
3. Exposure to drafting and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for utility and process equipment.
