Position details
Engineer-Technician (Kitchen) at Umm Al Qura, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
The position is in Engineering and Facilities, is full-time, and is not remote.
The role is non-management and supports hotel engineering and maintenance operations.
Technical responsibilities
- Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with little or no supervision.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspect tools, equipment, and machines.
- Maintain inventory and order required parts and supplies.
- Repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen, and pool-heating equipment.
- Perform advanced hotel MEP troubleshooting and repairs.
- Use lockout/tagout procedures before maintenance work.
- Use maintenance, preventive maintenance, energy management, and other engineering computer systems.
- Perform service-engineer readings and rounds and train other engineers when required.
Required qualifications
- At least two years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience.
- Valid driving licence.
- Universal CFC certification.
- Compliance with applicable certification and licensing requirements.
