Job purpose
The Quantity Surveying Engineer is responsible for quantity take-off, measurement, cost estimation, payment certification, and commercial documentation for construction projects.
The role requires accuracy, drawing interpretation capability, and strong commercial awareness.
Quantity take-off and measurement
- Perform quantity take-offs from engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQ documents.
- Measure executed works for interim payments, subcontractor evaluations, and commercial reporting.
- Maintain organized measurement records that are traceable and auditable.
Tendering and contract support
- Support tender preparation, cost estimation, pricing inputs, and commercial comparisons.
- Review technical and commercial documents for measurement gaps, scope risks, and pricing assumptions.
- Support BOQ analysis, variation measurement, contract administration, and billing documentation.
Billing and payment certification
- Prepare and review payment certification documents and support billing procedures.
